About

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Georgia, a Certified Gestalt Therapist and Supervisor, Certified Brainspotting therapist/consultant, and EMDR Practitioner, Psychedelic Asssited Therapy Practicioner. I have been practicing psychotherapy since 1999.

My greatest passion in life is helping people. Throughout the therapy process I assist my clients in overcoming their difficulties in life, reaching their full potential, learning to accept themselves, and becoming authentic. My therapeutic style is a warm, accepting, and supportive engagement with each individual on the thrilling journey to better understand who he or she really is by promoting personal growth and change.

I have completed a long-term training program and received certifications as a gestalt therapist (2007) and supervisor/trainer in Gestalt Therapy (2010) from Moscow Gestalt Institute. I am also trained in EMDR and Brainspotting Therapies which are highly effective for treating trauma and other mental health problems  (PTSD, phobia, adjustment and other stress disorders, anxiety, depression, loss and grief, substance abuse). Brainspotting is my favorite approach in therapy that I use with my clients. Also, I incorporate other effective psychotherapy techniques that are suitable for the individual client. My recent extensive training in Psychedelic Assisted Therapy helped to incorporate new innovative effective tools into the work with my clients.

I work with adults from 17. My specialties are trauma, anxiety disorders, adjustment/adaptation, and depression. Among the wide variety of issues on which I have worked with my clients are self-esteem and distorted self-concept, addictions, eating disorders, chronic illness, conversion, somatic symptoms, mood disorders, etc. Since I immigrated to the USA from Ukraine in 2013, I also have been successfully working with immigrants' adaptation and acculturation issues.

I fluently speak English, Russian, and Ukrainian.
